ICARUS Cheats on PC: Talent Points, Exotics, Trainer

There are no cheat codes for ICARUS and no command that hands you an item. What RocketWerkz built instead is a talent respec that costs Ren, an exotics economy that pays Ren, and a drop timer that does not pause for either. The maths of that system is most of what people mean when they search for ICARUS cheats.

Takeaways ICARUS progression, in the numbers that matter

What the game gives you, and what it charges

ICARUS hands out talent points by level and stops at 60. By then a prospector holds 90 talent points and 30 solo points, the solo tree being separate, according to the Talents page of the ICARUS wiki. There are 465 talents across Survival, Adventure, Habitation, Combat and Solo, each tree with novice, apprentice, journeyman and master ranks that unlock after 4, 8 and 12 points spent in it.

Ninety points against 465 talents is the design. A build is a choice, and the game sells the option to unchoose: respec points, spent one per talent, on the station and never mid-prospect. Every account received 30 of them when the system arrived. Beyond that they cost 150 Ren apiece.

Ren comes from missions and from exotics, and exotics convert at one exotic for five Ren. Which turns the respec question into an exotics question.

Exotics are the slow part, and the timer does not care

Exotics are the orbital currency. Everything in the workshop, the gear that comes down with you on a drop, is researched and built with them, and they only count once you have sent them up through an Orbital Exchange Interface. The wiki’s Exotics page lists the three ways to get them.

Nodes appear in roughly one cave in five at the start of a prospect and are mined with any pickaxe, yield unaffected by pickaxe tier. Deposits are found by radar and drained by extractors: a biofuel extractor pulls about 90 exotics per half hour, an electric one 135, and open-world deposits hold 100 to 300 each. Vapor condensers pay exotics after three successful activations on a geyser, each of them a horde fight. Since changelog 2.2.41 the Alpha Wolf boss also drops 100 on harvest, which has made boss farming the popular route.

All of that happens on a prospect with a drop timer. Miss the shuttle and the session is over, whatever the extractor was doing. Between the timer and you sit oxygen you craft, water you find, food that spoils, and a temperature that swings hard enough overnight to kill on its own.

Where the trainer comes in

The ICARUS trainer has 35 cheats, seven of them free. The one that answers the talent maths directly is Unlimited Upgrade Points, which adds talent points outside of what a prospect pays out. Add XP sits next to it.

The rest reads like a list of the ways a prospect ends early. Unlimited oxygen, water, food and perfect body temperature, one switch each, the four bars that end a session on their own. Unlimited health and stamina, with free restore-health and refill-stamina taps for players who want the bars to mean something. Instant crafting for the oxygen, tools and shelter that all come out of a queue. Infinite carry weight, free item use, no durability loss.

Then six cheats that move you along the X, Y and Z axis, one direction each. ICARUS has its own unstuck command and players still end up wedged in rock often enough that a manual nudge is on the list. Six of 35 is a comment on the terrain.

The free tier is the odd one: it includes Low health and No stamina, and three more hardcore switches sit in premium. A trainer that ships a harder mode for free says something about who plays this game.

Respec points first, trainer second

The game’s own systems if you have the 30 respec points left and one build to fix. That is what they are for, and an Alpha Wolf run pays for a few more.

The trainer if the talent cap is a wall rather than a choice, or if the survival bars are the reason a prospect ends. It changes values in memory on your own PC, for the prospects you run alone.

Single-player only. The trainer does nothing on a dedicated server and is not meant to.

Are there cheat codes for ICARUS?

No. ICARUS has no code entry and no item-spawning command. The in-game systems are the talent respec, the Ren economy and the workshop. On PC, a trainer covers the rest for prospects you run alone.

How many talent points do you get in ICARUS?

90 talent points and 30 solo points by level 60, which is where new points stop. The 465 talents across five categories cannot all be taken, so the respec system exists.

How do you respec talents in ICARUS?

On the station, not on a prospect. Open the character's talents, right-click a talent and spend one respec point to get the talent point back. Every account received 30 respec points, and more cost 150 Ren each.
