Why cheats make sense in Europa Universalis 5
Income in EU5 depends on control, and a location at 50% control loses half its income. Estates get harder to tax as their population and privileges grow, and an unhappy clergy takes its research bonus away. Every RGO level needs 1,000 laborers to run at full efficiency. The trainer sets gold, inflation and stability, puts a floor under every estate's satisfaction, speeds up construction and research, and adds or removes pops by class.

Pops run the economy
Each RGO level needs 1,000 laborers, and peasants only move up to fill jobs where at least 500 of them live. Twelve cheats add or subtract each of the six classes in the selected region. A mine or workshop reaches full staff without waiting on social mobility. -
Estates and inflation
Taxing an estate too hard makes it angry, and an unhappy estate can rebel or withhold its bonus. Set Inflation and Set Stability are free. Minimum Satisfaction (all estates) keeps all of them above a floor at once. -
A setter for each faith
Ten cheats cover religious values: Religious Influence, Karma, Purity, Honor, Doom, Rite Power, Yanantin, Righteousness, Harmony and Selfcontrol. Whichever religion your country follows, its value has a setter.

Which Europa Universalis 5 cheats are free?
Five of the 68: Add Gold, Sub Gold, Set Inflation, Set Stability and Set Devotion/Legitimacy. Pops, estates and the console switches need a PLITCH premium plan.
What is the difference between EU5 console commands and the trainer?
The console is part of the game: you add the -debug_mode launch option in Steam and type commands after pressing the backtick key. Twelve trainer cheats switch on debug mode and commands such as Yesman and Instantsiege without typing. The rest set values directly, such as pops by class or minimum estate satisfaction.
Does the trainer work with Steam?
PLITCH lists Europa Universalis 5 for PC on Steam. You need to own the game there.
Can I use the EU5 trainer in multiplayer?
No. The trainer is for single-player only. Use it in a solo campaign.
