Miscellaneous
- Influence grows only as the population does. This adds to it directly, ahead of the next census.
- Fills the pool that gates ships, trade routes and the buildings worth having, all in one step.
Units
- An expedition loses at least one point of morale per event, and running out of rations or a bad choice costs more. Reach zero and the ship is lost at sea. This keeps morale at the top for the whole trip.
AI
- Max diplomacy value (open diplomacy screen)
Health/Energy
- Keeps a ship from being sunk, in combat or in an expedition event gone wrong.
Construction
- A shipyard queue takes real time per hull. This finishes it on the click instead.
Why cheats make sense in Anno 1800
Influence is the quieter problem. It gates ships, trade routes and the buildings that make an island worth having, and it grows only as your population does. So you wait: for the next tier, for the expedition to return, for the oil to arrive. The trainer moves those numbers instead of your evening, and the city you lay out is still yours.

The harbor decides everything
Four cheats work on harbor stock alone, from a 50 percent floor on all resources to a separate one for oil. A production chain does not fail visibly. It quietly runs dry at the warehouse while you are looking somewhere else. -
Influence is the hidden currency
Plus 10 influence is free, max influence is premium. Ships, trade routes and propaganda all draw from the same pool, and the pool grows only with population, which grows only if the chains keep running. -
Expeditions are a second game
Full expedition morale and max diplomacy sit in the list because the New World and the expedition screen run on their own rules. Losing a crew to morale after twenty minutes is a particular kind of frustrating.

Do the harbor cheats need anything open?
Yes. Several are labelled open harbor or open oil harbor, meaning the relevant screen has to be on display for the value to be written.
