Crimson Desert Cheats on PC: No Console, Trainer

Crimson Desert has no console commands and no cheat codes, on launch day or after the 2.0 Enhanced update. The one built-in lever is the difficulty setting Pearl Abyss added in patch 1.04.00, and it makes fights easier without touching anything else. Inventory slots, Contribution, NPC trust and the dragon's cooldown all stay exactly as slow as they were.

Takeaways What Crimson Desert lets you change, and what it does not

  1. No console, no codes Pearl Abyss never shipped either. Patch 1.04 and the 2.0 Enhanced update added none.
  2. Easy mode since 1.04.00 Less damage taken, weaker and slower enemies, wider parry and dodge windows. Switchable in Settings, Play.
  3. The slow systems stay slow 50 inventory slots at the start, trust built five points a greeting, a dragon that flies 15 minutes and rests 50.
  4. 28 cheats in the trainer Four free. Eight of them move your position, the rest reach slots, trust, Contribution and timers.

No console, no codes, and the patches did not add one

Pearl Abyss released Crimson Desert on 19 March 2026 as a single-player open world, with Kliff and his Greymanes in Pywel. It shipped without a developer console and without cheat codes, and it has stayed that way through two large updates. Patch 1.04.00 in April added difficulty settings. The 2.0 update in August added eight skills, an Abyss Link system and new story scenes, according to KitGuru’s report, and Steam now lists the game as Crimson Desert Enhanced. Neither update brought a console.

Searches for “crimson desert console commands” turn up command lists anyway. None of them come from the game. PC mods did appear on Nexus Mods within hours of launch, and they are mods, not a console.

Easy mode is the one built-in lever

The difficulty setting arrived with patch 1.04.00 on 22 April 2026. Before that, everyone played what is now Normal. The patch notes, reproduced by Shacknews, put it under Settings, Play.

Easy is a real help in combat, and it is all combat. It does not hand out slots, money, Contribution or trust, and it does not shorten a single timer. Those systems are where the hours go.

Where Crimson Desert is slow by design

Inventory. You start with 50 slots. Shacknews counted three slots per completed quest or request in Hernand, more from recruiting certain characters and expanding your base, and a limited number from merchants. Patch 1.04.00 added storage chests of 1,000 slots each for gatherables and collectibles.

Contribution. Contribution is earned by quests, bounties, liberated areas, freed prisoners and money given to beggars. Dexerto’s explainer covers the Hernand shop in Hernand Castle, which sells armor, jewelry and horse armor for it and refunds the cost when you sell an item back.

Trust. Every NPC tracks trust from 0 to 100. A greeting is worth five points and only five NPCs count per in-game day, gifts give five to 25, and a finished request 50. At 100, merchants offer a trade agreement that stocks their goods at Greymane Camp, as All Things How lays out.

The dragon. It flies for about 15 minutes at a time, followed by 50 real-world minutes of cooldown. Players complained about exactly that in March.

What the trainer reaches

The Crimson Desert trainer lists 28 cheats. Four are free: Fill Health, Fill Spirit, and multipliers for walk speed and jump speed.

The premium list lines up with the slow systems one by one. Set Max Item Slots is the inventory answer, with Item Multiplier, No Item Decrease and a stack setter next to it. Set Contribution-EXP Multiplier speeds up the regional grind. Full Trust and Maximum Distrust sit at the two ends of the trust bar. Pause Global Timer names dragon use in its label and holds other timers too. A further cheat makes mount taming and the arm wrestling minigame easy, two things no difficulty setting touches.

Combat sits where you would expect it: unlimited health, stamina and spirit for Kliff, health and stamina for the horse, and a damage setting for enemies. Eight of the 28 cheats move your position, save and restore plus a step in each direction on three axes. In a map this size, with this much climbing, that is more than a quarter of the list spent on getting from here to there.

Easy mode, or the trainer

Easy mode if the fights are what stops you. It is free, part of the game, and Normal is one menu away for a boss you want to beat properly.

The trainer if the fights are fine and the bag, the trust bar or the dragon’s cooldown is the problem. It changes values in memory while the game runs. Crimson Desert is a single-player game, so nobody else is affected. How a trainer differs from editing memory by hand is covered in trainer vs. Cheat Engine vs. console commands.

Does Crimson Desert have console commands?

No. Pearl Abyss has not shipped a developer console or cheat codes in the PC version, and neither patch 1.04.00 nor the 2.0 Enhanced update added one. Command lists that circulate online do not come from the game.

Is there an easy mode in Crimson Desert?

Yes, since patch 1.04.00 of April 2026. Easy, Normal and Hard sit in Settings under Play. Easy reduces the damage you take, weakens and slows enemies and widens the parry and dodge windows. Normal is the launch difficulty.

How do you get more inventory slots in Crimson Desert?

You start with 50. Quests and requests in Hernand usually add three slots each, recruiting certain party members and expanding your base add more, and some merchants sell a limited number of expansions.

How long can you ride the dragon in Crimson Desert?

About 15 minutes per use, followed by a cooldown of 50 real-world minutes, as reported shortly after launch. The trainer's Pause Global Timer cheat holds that timer and others.
