theHunter: Call of the Wild Cheats on PC
There is no cheat code in theHunter: Call of the Wild and no developer console to open. The game hands out 22 skill points and 22 perk points on the way to level 60, and stops. Everything people search for under cheats is a way around that number, and on PC the ways are few.
Takeaways What the game gives you, and where it stops
- 22 skill points at level 60 For 27 skills in two trees
- 22 perk points at level 60 For 24 perks in four weapon trees
- 60 the level where points stop One point per level to 37, then one every three
- 17 cheats in the trainer Three free, four of them one per weapon tree
The point system is the whole reason people search for cheats
Every level from 2 to 37 gives you one point, and it alternates: a skill point at 2, a perk point at 3, a skill point at 4. From 37 on the pace drops to one point every three levels, and at level 60 it stops. That leaves a hunter with 22 skill points and 22 perk points, a count players worked out in a long-running thread on the Steam forum and one the game has never changed.
The trees are bigger than that. The wiki’s skill list holds 27 skills in two trees, Ambusher and Stalker, with four tiers that open after 1, 5, 9 and 13 points spent. The perk list on the same wiki has 24 perks in four trees, one per weapon class: rifle, handgun, shotgun, bow. You cannot fill any of it. Twenty-two points against 27 skills means five stay closed for good, and the perks are worse because a rifle hunter who wants the bow tree has to pay for it out of the same 22.
So the choice is permanent, the game has no respec, and the only legal way to a different build is a new character. That is a lot of repeat hunting on reserves you already know.
What is actually for sale, and what costs money
Cash is the other slow number. Rifles, ammunition, callers, tents and the licences for each reserve come out of the same wallet, and the wallet fills from harvests and mission rewards. A new reserve arrives with a bill attached: the Peru map, Intisuyu, launched on 16 June 2026 with 14 species, a new crossbow and 60 missions, and you pay for the gear that suits it before the first kill pays you back.
None of this can be typed in. There is no console in this game, no launch option that opens one, and no phrase to enter anywhere.
What the trainer does with the two numbers
The theHunter: Call of the Wild trainer lists 17 cheats, three of them free. The three free ones are infinite ammo and two switches that push the clock an hour forward or back, which is the answer to waiting for dawn on a reserve where the animal you want only moves at dawn.
The premium side is built around the point system. Skill points +1 and Perk points +1 add to the two totals above, and Experience +500 moves the level itself. Then four cheats that read like the perk trees: rifle experience, pistol experience, shotgun experience and bow experience, +100 each. Four weapon trees in the game, four weapon-experience cheats in the trainer, one for one. That is not a coincidence, it is what a hunter who wants the bow perks on a rifle character needs.
Add Money is there for the licence problem. Unlimited health, infinite stamina with a perfect pulse, and no reload cover the shot. Two more calm the animal down or make you harder to notice, and one lights up nearby animals in an outline colour, which is the hunt itself switched off. Some people will want that, most will not, and it is a single switch either way.
Two ways to play it
The game as it is if the 22-point ceiling reads like a design and not a wall. It is a hunting game about patience, and the point limit is part of what makes a build yours.
The trainer if you want to try the bow tree on the character you already have, or you have 40 hours in one reserve and no interest in earning the licence for the next one twice. It changes values in memory on your own PC and stays in single-player.
Whichever you pick, the animals still bolt when the wind turns. The trainer has a switch for that too, but you will not need it if you check the wind.
Infographic What the game gives you, and where it stops Click to enlarge Are there cheat codes for theHunter: Call of the Wild?
No. The game has no code entry and no console on any platform. The skill and perk trees are the only progression system, and money comes from harvests and missions. On PC a trainer covers the rest for hunts you run alone.
How many skill points do you get in theHunter: Call of the Wild?
22 skill points and 22 perk points by level 60, where new points stop. Levels 2 to 37 alternate between a skill point and a perk point, then it is one point every three levels.
Can you unlock every skill and perk?
Not on one character. There are 27 skills and 24 perks, and each needs at least one point. With 22 points per tree you leave a third of them locked, which is the design.
Do the cheats work in multiplayer?
They are meant for the reserve you hunt alone. The trainer changes values on your own PC, and this page is about single-player only.
