Money/Resources

  • +100.000 Creditsfree
  • A station that makes you self sufficient costs millions, and the ships that die getting there were expensive too. This closes a large part of that gap directly.
  • Add Credits (100 = 1 Credit)

Hardcore

  • 0 Credits

Health/Energy

  • Keeps a ship from being destroyed outright, the actual cost of a fleet fight in this economy.
  • The buffer that normally absorbs damage before hull does. This keeps it from ever running out.

Weapons

  • Removes ammunition as a limit on combat ships specifically, separate from the credits that buy them.
  • No laser tower decrease
  • Keeps deployed mines from depleting, for area denial that doesn't need restocking.
  • Infinite flares

Miscellaneous

  • No nav beacon decrease
  • No resource probe decrease
  • No satellite decrease
  • Ship boost drains with use for a burst of speed. This removes that limit.

Why cheats make sense in X4: Foundations

Building an empire means buying ships, which means running trade routes, which means owning ships. The game is honest about this loop and slow about it, on purpose. A station that would make you self sufficient costs millions, and the ships that die getting there were expensive too. Four cheats hold the hull and shields, which is what keeps an early fleet from evaporating.

  • Credits are the entire game

Three cheats move them, and the amounts tell the story: 100,000 free, a million premium, and a precise setter at 100 units to one credit. X4's prices are measured in the millions long before your income is.
  • Ships are expensive to lose

Infinite ship hull and infinite shield. An early fleet is a handful of vessels you cannot replace, and one bad jump into a Xenon sector ends a session's worth of trading.
  • Ammunition has four separate switches

Missiles, laser towers, mines and flares. The defensive items are consumables, which means station defence is an ongoing bill rather than a one off purchase.

Make X4: Foundations the game you actually want to play.

How game trainers work

When a fight in X4: Foundations stops being a challenge and starts being a wall, a trainer lets you get past it.

  1. 1Install the PLITCH trainer and start X4: Foundations.
  2. 2Pick the cheats you want. Free ones are included, premium ones need a plan.
  3. 3Switch them on and off with hotkeys while you play X4: Foundations, in single-player.

Cheats work in single-player only. They do not change your game files, and you can turn every one of them off again. Independent trainer page for X4: Foundations. Not affiliated with the publisher or developer.
