Buildings
- One of two constraints new players hit first, alongside settlement landfill. This fills it directly instead of piping water in.
- Waste needs a landfill your settlement will eventually run out of room for. This removes the waste instead of the space problem.

- No fuel consumption (vehicle)
- Every process produces exhaust your settlement notices. This removes air pollution specifically, without touching runoff or landfill.

- Vehicles and ships burn fuel you refine yourself elsewhere in the same economy. This removes that draw for the fleet specifically.

Why cheats make sense in Captain of Industry
Every process produces something you did not want. Waste needs a landfill, exhaust poisons the air, runoff poisons the water, and your settlement notices all three. Meanwhile vehicles burn fuel you refine yourself and the farm needs water you have to pipe in. The two free cheats cover farm water and settlement landfill, which are the two constraints most new players hit first.

Pollution is a separate system, twice
No air pollution and no ground water pollution are two different cheats, because the game models them separately. A factory that works can still make the settlement unlivable. -
Fuel powers the machines that make fuel
No fuel consumption for vehicles and infinite fuel for the fleet. Trucks and excavators run on diesel you produce, which means an early refinery outage stops the mining that would fix it. -
The settlement is the scoreboard
Fill settlement population, set village population and set reputation. Your factory exists to supply people, and their numbers are what unlocks the next tier of everything.
