- The fuel gauge stops moving. Routes stay just as long, the stop for diesel disappears.
- Chassis and cabin don't wear from distance at all, only from collisions and hard impacts. This is the cheat for a bad crash, not a long haul.
- Engine damage builds by a fixed amount every mile, enough to fail around 310,000 miles on default settings. This keeps it at zero.
- No transmission damage
- Covers the other half of a collision's cost. Cabin damage, like chassis damage, comes only from impacts, never from miles driven.

- Runs on the same mileage curve as the engine, so this keeps it from wearing out on a long career.

Why cheats make sense in Euro Truck Simulator 2
The drive is the point. Everything around it is bookkeeping: fuel stops, fatigue timers that force a rest, chassis and engine wear that sends you to a service station, cargo damage that eats the fee you drove eleven hours for. The trainer removes the bookkeeping and leaves the road.

Seven separate damage switches
Chassis, engine, transmission, cabin, truck wheels, trailer and trailer wheels each have their own cheat, and wear has another set on top. The game tracks your truck in pieces, and every piece is a reason to stop driving. -
Fuel and fatigue interrupt the same thing
Unlimited fuel is one of only three free cheats, and never tired sits beside it. Both exist to stop the drive, and both are the systems players turn off first. -
The garage costs money you have not earned yet
Add and subtract money are free, and XP is in the list too. Buying your own truck and hiring drivers is the actual progression, and it is priced for a very long haul.
