Eight of the ten cheats here add a currency, and Hades has six of them. Each unlocks a different part of the House of Hades, and each drops from a different place in the underworld.

Money/Resources
- Keys unlock new mirror upgrades and weapon aspects, one of several currencies that only convert into progress slowly, run after run.
- Gemstones fund House renovations, a currency kept deliberately separate from the ones spent on combat upgrades.
- Buys mirror upgrades specifically, the permanent stat boosts that carry between runs.
- Builds relationships with other characters, a currency that has nothing to do with combat power at all.
- Add Gold
- Upgrades weapon aspects, earned from a fixed set of tough encounters rather than general runs.
- Add Diamonds
- A rarer relationship currency than nectar, for deepening a bond further once nectar alone isn't enough.
Health/Energy
- Removes the run-ending risk entirely, for players who want the story and the currencies without the combat difficulty.
AI
- Reaching the surface takes dozens of runs, most spent accumulating rather than improving. This shortens the fights inside each one.
Why cheats make sense in Hades
A run ends and you keep the currencies, which is the design: failure is progress. But darkness buys mirror upgrades, titan blood upgrades weapons, ambrosia and nectar buy relationships, and diamonds and keys unlock the rest. Reaching the surface takes dozens of runs, and most of those runs are spent accumulating rather than improving.

Six currencies, six sources
Keys, gemstones, darkness, nectar, titan blood, diamonds and ambrosia each have their own cheat. They drop from different room types and rewards, so a run rarely gives you the one you need. -
Weapon aspects need titan blood
Add titan blood is in the list because each weapon has four aspects, each needing several units of a currency that drops rarely. Trying a new build is expensive. -
Two cheats for the run itself
Godmode and one hit kill, against eight for the meta progression. Hades is generous with its own assist mode, so the trainer focuses where the grind actually is.

How game trainers work
When Hades makes you farm for an hour before you can afford the next step, a trainer is the shortcut.

Does the game not have its own assist mode?
It does, God Mode, which reduces damage taken. The trainer works on the meta currencies, which that mode does not touch.
